Somehow the base of the Sydney Opera House always looks in need of a coat of pink paint to me.
So this was an experiment in using an opaque pink bar superimposed over the bottom of the photo, to see how it looks. Seemed okay in Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox, but not so good in Opera. If only PNG transparencies were standard in all browsers! Yes, there is a way, using imported CSS files, where a specific IE CSS file can include non-PNG code, but that really is hacking.
And another experiment in giving a shadow to the main section.
