The writing is to the right side of the picture.
A large margin - actually called padding, has been set to the right and bottom of the picture.
Text size is adjustable. Screen size/resolution is variable. Default size was 90% of viewer's choice - my preference.
Menu was again written with CSS instead of Javascript and images, for speed.
This page is mainly an example of a page pushing the picture as the main feature, with some nice colour variations in the heading. The heading fonts are simple - it would have been nice to have a really fancy cursive font, but you just can't trust all Windows and Mac computers to handle those fonts. There are really only a handful that are assumed to be present on all computers. Arial, Verdana, Times, etc. To get better headings, you would need to import an actual image, which slows the loading of the page - another personal bugbear.
