Heading
Changing colour mid heading has been popular in 2004, alternating different colours.
The page uses the entire window, catering for all screen sizes, from 800x600 to 1024.
To be non-traditional, the menu is on the right-hand side of the screen. The main left content flows around the right-floated menu and ad sections.
The text is changeable in size, in case visitors have difficulty in reading small fonts. Excluding the heading, which is fixed for appearance sake.
To change font size, go to VIEW and then TEXT-SIZE on your browser toolbar, and change it from Medium to something else, such as Largest or Smallest.
You can also experiment with the size of your window, shrinking the screen to see what happens to the layout. And then expanding it again. It's fun watching CSS adjust the main text section when you drag the right side of your display window back and forth.
This site should be quite fast, as there are no javascript, pictures, tables or fancy buttons. Well maybe just the monster my son drew.
